At the start of this year, we were approached by the Royal Air Force (RAF) who were in need of a 7 inch and 10 inch monitor to fit into one of there flight simulators.

Due to limited space they needed the ability to be able to mount the units in a specific way.  This is where we were able to help. 

Here’s how…

All our monitors come with the ability to be mounted on a wall via VESA brackets.  This was the solution to mounting the 10 inch monitor to the centre console of the flight simulator.

However, the 7 inch monitor was a bit more tricky.  Mounting the monitor via VESA would not be feasible as it would be in the way.   The way around this was to use the shroud that comes with the 7 inch monitor.  What this enabled the RAF to do was to flush mount the monitor into part of the flight simulators casing.
