At the start of this year, we were approached by the Royal Air Force (RAF) who were in need of a 7 inch and 10 inch monitor to fit into one of there flight simulators.
Due to limited space they needed the ability to be able to mount the units in a specific way. This is where we were able to help.

Late last year the channel five hit TV show “The Gadget Show” approached us for some small lcd monitors.
If you haven’t heard of the Gadget Show before then here is a quick brief description about there show.
Each week, the show previews and reviews the latest gadgets, and broadcasts the latest technology news to approximately 2 million people. The show is aimed at giving the mass consumer an insight into the gadget world and in addition, it aims to give enough information for the more “geeky” audience, but still making it accessible to the more casual viewer.

In January 2009 Arsenal Football Club came to us in need of a solution in helping to provide there commentators with a monitor to enable them to see ingame replays whilst not obstructing there view of the actual game.
As normal 15inch monitors are far to big and bulky for this purpose our 10.2 inch flat screen monitors were the perfect solution.
One of the major concerns that Arsenal had was the weather.

The ESAW 10 inch monitors have now been fitted with a brand new feature. It is now VESA mountable giving you the ability to literally mount the unit where ever you wish.
These units are now the only 10 inch monitors available that come with the VESA mountable feature as well as a metal stand.
The unit will also come with a range of different accessories such as Remote control, and all in one cable which allows you to connect the monitor up via VGA or Composite, a UK Mains power adapter, Car Power Adapter and an Auto dimming function. All these accessories will be included when purchasing a 10inch monitor.

My First Impression When I Opened the Box
The first thing I thought was how well built the 7 inch monitor is. It’s got a incredible solid frame which gives the unit a very robust and strong feeling to it. One thing which I wasn’t expecting was how the casing on the monitor was completely covered with a rubber coating to help enhance protection (which I must say is pretty impressive).
Secondly… the vast amount of accessories it actually came with. It come with a metal stand, remote control, shroud, power adapter, car power adapter and a all-in-one cable that has VGA, 2x Composite connectors and a reverse camera composite input.
All in all my first impression of the unit was what a great bit of kit.
